Fully adjustable 43 mm KYB front forksThe Tenere 700 Extreme features high specification long-travel KYB front forks giving 230 mm of wheel travel (20 mm more than the Tenere 700) that can handle the toughest off-road terrain. A durable Kashima coating on the tubes ensures smooth suspension action ??" and with full adjustability for preload and compression/rebound damping, this tough off roader can be set up to perfectly match your riding style on any terrain.
KYB piggyback rear shock absorberTenere 700 Extreme is equipped with a long stroke KYB rear shock that gives 220 mm of rear wheel travel 20 mm more than the Tenere 700. The race developed fully adjustable Monocross rear suspension is fitted with a newly developed linkage that gives more progressive suspension action for improved handling performance in extreme off-road terrain.
3-theme connected 5-inch TFT meterThe 5-inch TFT meter offers three screen styles to suit different situations. 'Explorer' features a dynamic digital stye, while 'Street' gives an analogue-type speedometer format. The 'Raid' theme features a roadbook inspired design with a focus on trip distances. With Yamaha's free MyRide app you can stay connected and see text and call notifications on the screen.
Flat one-piece rally seatWhen you're riding o road you need to be able to shift weight easily for optimum controllability. With its flatter profile and extra 20mm of padding, the Tenere 700 Extreme's one-piece seat provides added comfort together with improved mobility on the highway and in the dirt.
High level enduro-style front fenderThe Tenere 700 Extreme comes equipped with a high level front fender designed to handle the most extreme off-road conditions. Its lightweight design helps to protect you from surface debris, while a secondary low level half-fender helps deflect dirt and spray away from the bike.
Lightweight titanium footrestsFor increased levels of grip in muddy or wet conditions, the Tenere 700 Extreme’s special equipment includes lightweight titanium footrests. 200g lighter and with a 35% larger surface area than the standard design, these competition-style footrests reduce pressure on your boot soles ??" especially when you're standing up ??" giving enhanced controllability thanks to the larger contact area.
Aluminium piggyback rear shock, long 220mm travelThe rear suspension system uses a redesigned linkage as well as a rear shock equipped with a piggyback reservoir and an aluminium body that ensures consistent damping. A large bump stop is used to handle rough terrain, and the World Raid's shock gives 220mm rear wheel travel, 20mm more that the Tenere 700.
3-mode switchable ABS3-mode ABS gives you the option to decide exactly how you want your bike to behave on different surfaces. Mode 1 is full on, with ABS working on both wheels ??" a legal requirement on public roads. Mode 2 is front wheel on, rear wheel off, giving added confidence on loose gravel tracks. Mode 3 is fully off, giving you ultimate controllability when riding in the dirt.
Ergonomic 16-litre fuel tankThanks to the high fuel efficiency of the CP2 engine, the 16-litre fuel tank gives you plenty of range between refills. The adoption of a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel also gives you the option to fit full enduro specification tyres for increased off-road performance.
