125cc Blue Core engineWhether you're commuting through busy city streets or heading into the suburbs to catch up with friends, the sporty NMAX 125 gives you the ideal blend of performance, fun and economy. The quiet-running 125cc Blue Core engine consumes very little fuel and delivers strong acceleration to keep you ahead of the traffic and the large capacity 7.1-litre fuel tank gives you around 300 km between refills.
Sporty body designYamaha is taking the NMAX 125 to the next level with a body design featuring a stylish front cowl with dynamic twin-eye style LED headlight and built-in position lights while the LED tail light and integral front and rear flashers enhance the premium look and feel of Yamaha's ultimate entry-level 125 scooter.
CCU Communication Control UnitNMAX benefits from Yamaha's Communication Control Unit (CCU) that keeps you informed and makes every ride more enjoyable. Download the 'MyRide' app to your smartphone and connect via Bluetooth. Smart Key SystemThe NMAX is one of the most sophisticated scooters in its class and it comes with Yamaha's Smart Key system as standard equipment. As long as you have the Smart Key with you in a pocket or bag, this keyless system allows you to turn your NMAX on, saving time and making the whole process much simpler and more convenient. No more messing around looking for conventional keys in a dark car park at night!
High rigidity frameHidden away behind the dynamic bodywork the high rigidity frame plays a key role in making the NMAX one of Yamaha's best performing urban commuters. It features a large 7.1-litre fuel tank located in the centre tunnel to give a balanced weight distribution for excellent manoeuvrability. The chassis and bodywork provide a comfortable riding position with increased wind protection and reduced noise.
Traction Control SystemNMAX comes with a Traction Control System that gives you a more confident ride on loose or slippery surfaces such as wet cobblestones or tramlines. When the TCS senses that any rear tyre slippage is about to happen it momentarily reduces drive to the rear wheel so that the tyre maintains traction allowing you to ride confidently in varying weather and road surface conditions.
Start & StopBy riding such an economical scooter, you're already helping to lessen your carbon footprint and to further reduce urban pollution and minimise fuel consumption, the NMAX is equipped with a Start & Stop system that cuts in when you come to a stop at traffic lights or on congested streets. When the lights go green, just release the brakes and twist the throttle and the EURO5 engine starts immediately.
Underseat storage spaceAs well as being Yamaha's sportiest and most dynamic 125cc scooter in the Urban Mobility class, the NMAX also has a practical side that makes it the ideal companion for work and play. Flip up the contoured dual seat and you'll be able to access the spacious storage compartment, which is large enough to accommodate your helmet and other personal items when parked.
Connected LCD instrumentsThis premium yet affordable urban scooter is equipped with high-tech LCD instruments that are linked to the CCU. As well as showing speed, distance, fuel level and temperature, this connected display is linked to the CCU and features icons that will light up and notify you of incoming calls, emails and SMS messages as well as displaying your smartphone's battery status.
Power socket and front pocketsWith its easy-to-use CCU and wide range of MyRide app functions, the NMAX enables you to stay fully connected wherever you go making sure that you never miss an important message from work colleagues or friends. Its convenient power socket enables you to keep your smartphone fully charged while riding and the front pockets provide a weatherproof place to store personal belongings.
Front and rear disc brakes, with ABSThe NMAX's premium specification includes a powerful braking system featuring a 230mm front disc and 230mm rear disc that give you plenty of smooth and controllable stopping power and the ABS system prevents accidental wheel lock-ups that can happen if you apply excessive brake pressure while riding on loose or slippery surfaces.
