In 2018, Zero partnered with Bill Webb for a custom FXS build, inspiring future motorcycles. Webb's approach pushed boundaries yet maintained relatability and functionality, and from that the FXE was born. The FXE has been embraced by the motorcycle industry and exceeding even our own lofty expectations. Wake up, ready to ride, with a "full tank" every day. No high-power public charge station required. A simple 220 V household outlet satisfies all the needs of the Zero FXE's 650-watt onboard charger. CONTROL THROUGH CONNECTION
By pairing through your smartphone, the FXE�s full capabilities are unlocked with the Zero NextGen app. Data driven performance is at the tips of your fingertips when you can monitor everything about your FXE from charge times, speed and regeneration levels, and so much more. LICENCE REQUIREMENTS
Riders holding an A1 licence with a CBT (compulsory basic training) enables anyone 17 and up to ride one of our 11kW models, including the FXE 11kW. A car drivers licence enables the holder to ride 11kW motorcycles after taking and passing the CBT.

• Battery - ZForce 7.2
  
  Zero Motorcycles' Z-Force batteries are the most power and energy dense in the EV industry. The Z-Force 7.2 offers a maximum battery capacity of 7.2 kWh that delivers up to 169 km of city riding. The battery is designed to last and backed by a five-year, unlimited-kilometer warranty. The Zero FXE also features Long Term Storage Mode to optimize the battery's state of charge and further improve long term battery health when the seasons keep you from riding for months at a time.



• Charger - Onboard Charger
  
  The Zero FXE's discreetly accessible 650 W onboard charger can be plugged into any household outlet. When you can refuel your FXE from anywhere you can charge your cellphone, charge options per square mile are greater than the density of gas stations anywhere in the world. For when you need even faster recharges, charge times can be slashed by using optional Quick Chargers.



• Motor
  
  The Zero FXE powerplant produces up to 106 N-m of torque. The air-cooled Interior Permanent Magnet (IPM) motor delivers impressive performance and fierce acceleration, which works in conjunction with regenerative braking to channel energy back into the battery. No heavy, complicated or expensive liquid cooling. No routine maintenance. No fuss. This is the industry's most efficient, powerful, and compact motor.



• Chassis
  
  The Zero FXE's robust aircraft-grade aluminum frame has been refined for over ten years. A descendant of Zero's early motocross-style bikes, the frame's optimized strength-to-weight ratio is the perfect delivery mechanism for the Z-Force powertrain's adrenaline pumping acceleration.



• Brakes - Bosch ABS
  
  The Bosch anti-lock brake system (ABS) delivers confident braking. Tested for just about any situation you can imagine, the system optimizes deceleration under hard braking. The brakes are equipped with adjustable levers for improved ergonomics. And for those who would like, the ABS can be switched on or off at the rider's discretion.



• Dash - See clearly
  
  Full-color and optically bonded 127 mm TFT dash. The Zero FXE dash projects the specs you need: speed, state of charge, power output, selected riding profile, projected recharge time. Sync with your smartphone to turn it into a secondary customizable dash or view detailed ride stats.



• Suspension
  
  Custom-tuned by Showa specifically for the power and weight of the Zero FXE, this suspension is perfect for anything you find in your path. The FX's rugged 41mm inverted cartridge front forks and 40mm rear shock are enough to handle jagged ruts and rock-strewn trails, while offering 178-mm of front travel and 227-mm of play at the rear.



• Wheels & Tyres - Rubber side down
  
  The FXE rips through the concrete jungle on a pair of lightweight and strong 17-inch cast wheels. Wrapped in high-performance Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tires, the Zero FXE slices through any type of tarmac you encounter.



• Belt Drive - Direct Drive
  
  Strip away clutches, gears, shifting, chains and all their weighty complexities. Seamlessly accelerate with pure efficiency as energy quietly transforms into propulsion. The Zero FXE is direct drive, and its state-of-the-art motor connects directly to the rear wheel using a carbon fiber belt from Gates Carbon.



• Face / Headlight - Light the way
  
  The Zero FXE's distinctive face features an LED bulb element with a more traditional round reflector vs. projector bulb for wide, even illumination in both high and low beams along with an integrated fly screen, leading the way with a visual style matched to the bike's sharp attitude.
