MKII 686cc SOHC Engine
Yamaha's biggest leisure ATV is driven by a high performance, large capacity engine that delivers class leading torque and power. The 2nd generation MK II 686cc 4-valve SOHC engine is equipped with the latest EFI throttle body as well as fine tuned ECU mapping and refined tolerances that ensure low fuel consumption, high levels of torque and smooth engine performance.

Ultramatic Transmission
Equipped with high, low, reverse, neutral and park modes, Yamaha's industry leading Ultramatic automatic transmission is one of the most durable and efficient CVT systems. ts instant reaction gearing is designed to tackle the toughest terrain, and the natural feel of the all wheel engine braking gives you added confidence and control on down hill runs.

On Command Drive System
The intelligent On Command Drive system features a convenient push button control thats allows you to switchseamlessly and instantaneously from 2WD to 4WD and back. Independent Suspension, Disc Brakes
The Grizzly 700 EPS Alu's independent suspension system uses nitrogen gas shocks that are adjustable for preload, allowing the rider to run various settings to suit differing loads. WHAT IS AN ATV / SBS / UTV?

What is EPS?: Electronic Power Steering

What is SWB?: Short Wheel Base

What is LWB?: Long Wheel Base

What is an ATV?: All Terrain Vehicle means a motorised vehicle, propelled by an engine, intended primarily to travel on unpaved surfaces on four or more wheels with low-pressure tyres, having a seat designed to be straddled by the driver only or a seat designed to be straddled by the driver and a seat for no more than one passenger and handlebars for steering.

What is a UTV / SBS?: Utility Task Vehicle / Side by Side Vehicle means a self-propelled, operator controlled, non-articulated vehicle intended primarily to travel on un-paved surfaces on four or more wheels, having a minimum unladen mass, in running order, of 300kg (including standard equipment, coolant, lubricants, fuel, tools and 75kg driver but excluding optional accessories) and a maximum design speed of 25 km/h or more: in addition, it is designed to transport persons and /or cargo and pull and push equipment and steered by a control rather than a handlebar, designed for recreational or utility purpose and shall carry no more than 6 people including the driver, sitting side by side on one or more non-straddle seats.

Vehicle Classification T3 ATV Tractor Homologation
T3 ATVs are homologated (homologated means the type approval process the vehicle has passed, like your car needs to be homologated for the road, so does your ATV). The maximum speed for a vehicle is 40km/h (around 25mph).

The top speed is restricted to 40km/h

On public roads you need at least a T-class driving licence or here in the UK a full car licence usually

Your CFMOTO ATV will be equipped with an electric trailer connector socket, mirrors, lights and indicators

The maximum mass for a trailer fitted with brakes is 750kg and without brakes is 500kg

Maximum permissible trailer width is 1.5m

L7 ATV Quadricycle Homologation
L7 ATVs are homologated as quadricycles, which means they are no more than 450kg in running order. This type of ATV is restricted on power and speed, so they are limited to a maximum power of 15kW (or 20.11hp), with a speed limit of 90km/h (around 56mph).

Top speed is restricted to 90km/h

For road use, you need a B-class license

Your ATV will be equipped with the same equipment as the T3 ATV but the style might be slightly different.

The total weight of the trailer cannot exceed half the total mass of the vehicle

T1 UTV/SSV Tractor Homologation
All of the Side by Side range from CFMOTO are homologated under the T1b category due to their size and weight. So they are designed to have a speed above 40km/h but not above 60km/h. The maximum weight of the vehicle is 600kg and it is fitted with seat belts.

Top speed is 60km/h

On public roads you need a B-class license for any T1 homologated side by side under 550kg unladen.

EASI TRAINING

At WhateverWheels all of our staff are trained by EASI (European ATV Safety Institute) which allows us to offer non bia advice on ATV and SBS machines. We simply find out your requirements and offer our professional advice on machine selection, additional features and safety equipment.

EASI, the European All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Institute, is a not for profit organisation which provides safety training courses for ATV & SbS Operators.

EASI's UK operation is sponsored by the leading ATV manufacturers and delivers a programme of specialist ATV & SbS operator training courses which are designed to improve Operator skills, safety levels and awareness of the capabilities of ATVs which are also known as quad bikes and SbS's (Side by side sit in seat configuration).

We highly recommend all customers undertake the EASI land training certificate before using their ATV or SBS Machine.

WARRANTY

All of our new ATVs and Side By Side Buggies are sold with a 24 month parts & labour warranty unless stated otherwise. Our warranty allows you to get you're local garage to carry out any standard service and still keep your warranty. We can even send warranty parts directly to you're local garage to be fitted.

Our warranty does not include breakdown cover, we offer a nationwide breakdown packages from only �£39.99 per year.

*To avoid your vehicle warranty becoming void, you must adhere to the manufacturers service & maintenance schedule.

REGISTRATION OPTIONS

When purchasing a quad bike or side by side machine, there are options available to you:

Agricultural Registration

If you’re using a quad bike for agriculture, horticulture and forestry work we can register it as a light agricultural vehicle.

Using an agricultural quad bike on the road
An agricultural quad bike used on the road doesn’t need an MOT, but must be registered and licensed for road use and must have a number plate and third party insurance.
It will also need lights if it’s being used on the road after dark.

Vehicle tax
You don’t have to pay vehicle tax on quad bikes used for agriculture, horticulture or forestry. If you do have to pay tax, the class will depend on how you use your quad bike:
limited use tax class for bikes used on the road
agricultural machine class for bikes not licensed for road use

Passengers
Quad bikes used as light agricultural vehicles should be made with only a driver’s seat. They aren’t allowed to carry passengers.

Road Registered (PLG)

Registering
We will register and tax the quad bike with the DVLA and supply front and rear number plates.

MOT certificates
All of our new quad bikes used on the road do not need an MOT for the first three years.

Driving licence
To drive a quad bike on the road you need to have a full car licence or a category B1 licence if it was issued before January 1997.

Insurance
You must have third party insurance to drive a quad bike on the road.

Passengers
A quad bike can only carry passengers if it is designed to do so and has the right number of seats. Check with the manufacturer if you’re not sure.

Crash helmets
Quad bike drivers and passengers in England, Scotland and Wales don’t have to wear crash helmets, but it’s recommended.

Un-registered

Off Road Only
You don’t need a driving licence to ride a quad bike off-road.

You don’t have to tax and register your quad bike if you’re only going to use it off-road. However, there is an ‘off-road register’ where you can record the details of your off-road quad bike, which could help the police find it if it’s stolen.
